Current Incident: Temporary Network Outage

We have fixed the core issue and are waiting for systems to recover. Email from State of Minn Hi Everyone, Hopefully the last email for the weekend. Thanks to Walter and Tom at UNL (and GPN, Iowa State, and WiscNet) for helping provision a temporary backup VLAN for a backbone path for our router in Fargo. Our IGP metrics are set to make this a backup path only. Once the primary 100 gig is restored, traffic will switch to the normal path. Dave and I will continue to work on getting the backup 100 gig wave procured and installed over the coming months.

The State of MN is still working on correcting errors on their optical system between St Cloud and Minneapolis. You may experience some more route withdrawals over the next few days from our Gigapop router in Fargo. Sorry for the inconvenience.

NDUS technicians are working to resolve reported issues. Updates will be provided as they become available. Network outage seen from 11:01am to 11:13am Outage coming from upstream inside NDIT's network. They have been notified.
