Final status: Microsoft has processed all affected messages and confirmed that this issue is mitigated.

More info: Within Threat Explorer, admins may have observed delayed message state updates for messages that were reprocessed during our mitigation efforts.

Current status: Microsoft has processed 98.5 percent of all impacted messages and expects that the remaining 1.5 percent will be completed within the next few hours.

Current status: Microsoft has successfully cleared 90 percent of the impacted mail. Microsoft expects the remaining 10 percent to be drained by this afternoon.

Current status: The queues are taking longer than expected to drain due to the volume of impacted messages. Microsoft expects the impact to be fully mitigated within the next few hours.

Current status: We've identified that a recent change has resulted in an issue in which inbound email is being incorrectly routed to the junk folder. We're working to revert the change to mitigate the impact.

User Impact: Users may observe that incoming mail is being routed to their junk folder.

Current status: Microsoft is reviewing diagnostic data to better understand the issue in order to isolate and address the source of the issue.

Scope of impact: Initial reports of impact indicate that impact is specific to users located in North America.
