Update from Microsoft: The problem has been resolved for all usage scenarios. Users should now be able to access Bing, bing.com/chat, copilot.microsoft.com, Copilot in the Microsoft Edge sidebar and Copilot for Windows in the Windows desktop app as expected.

Microsoft Copilot within applications, such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, weren't impacted by this issue.

User Impact: Users may be unable to access the Microsoft Copilot service. Users may also be unable to access Bing, bing.com/chat and copilot.microsoft.com. Additionally, some users may be unable to access Copilot using the button in the Microsoft Edge browser sidebar or using the Copilot key on their keyboard.

Current Status: Microsoft reports that they have implemented a change that has restored Copilot services except for Copilot in the Microsoft Edge browser sidebar. They continue to work to restore full functionality.

Current Status: Microsoft is aware of the issue and working to restore services. Users may start to see improvement as Microsoft implements a workaround while they investigate root cause.
